# Privacy Policy — Shoot Delivery Tracker

Shoot Delivery Tracker is built on a simple principle: your business is
nobody else’s business.
## The short version
Everything you enter in Shoot Delivery Tracker — clients, shoots, money, invoices, notes — is stored only on your device. The app has no accounts,
no login, no cloud service, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We could
not look at your data even if we wanted to, because it never reaches us.
## What the app stores, and where
All app data (shoot details, client names and contact details, financial records, invoices, photos you attach as a logo, and settings) is saved in a
local database on your device only. Deleting the app deletes this data.
## What the app never does
– No data is sent to us. There is no server to send it to.
– No analytics or usage statistics are collected.
– No advertising identifiers are used.
– No account or registration exists, so no credentials are stored anywhere.
– Nothing is sent to any third party, with a single exception: the map, described below. If you never open the map, nothing ever leaves your phone unless you send it yourself.
## Device permissions, and why they are asked
A permission is requested only when a feature needs it, and only at the moment you use that feature. The set differs slightly between iPhone and Android:
– **Calendar** — only if you enable calendar sync, to add your shoots and delivery deadlines to your own calendar.
– **Location — Android only** — Android will not look up an address without it, so the app asks the first time you search for a place or drop a pin. It is used for nothing else. **The app never reads where you are**: it contains no code that requests your position, and it stores only the pin you deliberately place on a shoot. iPhone does not ask for this permission at all.
– **Notifications** — to show the reminders you configure. These are scheduled locally on your device; no push server is involved.
– **Photos** — no photo permission is requested on either platform. Choosing a logo for your invoices opens your phone’s own photo picker, which hands the app only the single image you pick. That image is copied into the app’s local storage; the rest of your library is never visible to the app.
## The map — the one place the app touches the internet
The map is used only when you search for an address or place a pin on a shoot’s location. Map imagery and address lookups come from **Apple Maps on iPhone** and **Google Maps on Android**. When you use the map, your search text and the area of the map you are viewing are sent to that provider to fetch results, subject to Apple’s or Google’s own privacy policy. On Android, the Google Maps component may also collect limited device data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
This is the only feature in the app that talks to the internet. Everything else works with the phone in airplane mode — including sunrise, sunset and golden-hour times, which are calculated on your device from the pin you placed and need no connection.
## Data that leaves your device — only when you choose
Some features let you export data. Every one of them uses your device’s standard share sheet, and you choose the destination each time: invoice PDFs you
share, backup files you export, and calendar entries written to your own calendar. If your device backs up to iCloud (iPhone) or to your Google
account (Android), your data is included in your own device backup under your own account, governed by Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy — this
is a function of the operating system, not of the app.
## Children
Shoot Delivery Tracker is a business tool for photographers and videographers and is not directed at children under 13.
## Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
